Discovery Harbour
One of Ontario’s most scenic waterside historic sites, Discovery Harbour (1817-1856) tells the story of a 19th century naval and military outpost built to safeguard Upper Canada after the War of 1812.

In July and August, enjoy daily historical presentations and demonstrations, or take a deeper dive into the store of Penetanguishene’s naval and military establishments by booking a guided tour for an additional fee.
On site you’ll also find the picturesque King’s Wharf Theatre, with plays and musicals offered by Drayton Entertainment.
