Silver Compass Consulting Hosts Ladies AAGPBL Theme Slo-Pitch Charity Tournament Supporting the Simcoe County CMHA and Celebrating Women in Baseball
This unique event aims to celebrate women in baseball and pay homage to the iconic movie, A League of Their Own, with all participants donning uniforms inspired by the 1940s era.
Over 150 women will be at the tournament to showcase their skills and passion for the game in a fun and nostalgic setting. To add to the excitement, a special men's team - Dottie’s Hotties, will be dressing up in skirts to play against one of the competitive ladies teams in a fun exhibition game, highlighting the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship.
In addition to the thrilling games on the field, the event will feature sliding, pitching, and batting competitions that promise to keep spectators on the edge of their seats. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with games, prizes, bouncy castles, music, vendors, and interactive activities, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.
The tournament will take place at the Barrie Sports Complex, with various entertainment options for attendees of all ages. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Simcoe County CMHA to further support mental health services in the region.
